How to play Postcard Haul
Mira has a small truck and a coast full of customers waiting for their deliveries. Your job is to bring enough intact parcels to the depot at the end of each road. Hold the accelerator to move forward, release it to coast, and brake before sharp dips or steep crests. The truck has physical wheels and spring suspension, while the parcels in its bed are separate objects that can slide, roll and collide.
The first route introduces gentle hills and ordinary boxes. Later deliveries add fragile pottery, rolling fruit crates, longer climbs, rocking bridges and coastal gusts. You can take your time: the delivery timer awards bonus points but never ends a mission. Reaching the destination with a secure load matters more than rushing.
The story: ten deliveries and a lighthouse supper
Mira has just inherited the keys to Odette's old teal pickup, and Midsummer is almost here. The Lighthouse Supper only happens if every village on the coast sends its share, so each delivery is a favour for someone with a name and a reason: Mr. Bell's newsstand, Auntie Rosa's peaches for the supper pies, Nilo's fragile blue pottery, the hill school, the ferryman, the orchard, the glassblower, the windmill and the bridge keeper.
Before every route a short briefing tells you who is waiting and what the road will test, and each customer sends a thank-you note when you arrive. The tenth delivery carries everyone's supplies to Tomas, the lamp keeper, so the lighthouse can be lit and the coast can celebrate together. The story is gentle and short, and you can skip the opening scenes if you would rather start driving.
Driving tips: keep the cargo aboard
Watch the shape of the road ahead. Braking early gives the suspension time to settle before the truck enters a dip. Sudden acceleration can push a stack backward, while heavy braking can shift it toward the cab. Round fruit crates roll more readily than rectangular boxes, and the blue pottery has less impact protection. Cargo damage appears as cracks, and the game tells you when a parcel is lost.
Rocking bridges react to the weight of your vehicle. Approach slowly, let the truck settle, then cross with small bursts of acceleration. If you become airborne, use the balance controls for a modest correction rather than holding them continuously. Recovering a steep tilt is harder than preventing it.
Deliveries, checkpoints and stars
The cargo counter shows how many parcels remain and how many the customer needs. Losing too much cargo opens the retry screen. Selected longer routes include a packing stop that preserves the parcels and condition you bring there. Reloading that checkpoint gives you another attempt without a currency cost or an energy timer.
At the destination, slow down in front of the delivery depot. Your truck must remain almost stationary for a short moment to unload. Finish for one star, bring every original parcel for a second, and keep average delivered cargo condition above eighty percent for a third. You can replay unlocked routes to improve your best time, score and star rating.
Daily delivery and saved progress
Daily delivery selects one of the existing routes using your local calendar date. It provides a repeatable challenge, rather than a newly authored road every day. Completing it does not unlock later campaign routes. Share a result after finishing if you want a friend to compare their delivery.
Campaign unlocks, results and sound preferences stay in this browser on this device. There is no account or cloud save, and progress is separate from the general site profile. Clearing browser data removes the saved record. If storage is unavailable, you can still play, but progress lasts only for the visit. Settings include independent music and effects volumes plus reduced motion to remove camera shake.
Frequently asked questions
Is Postcard Haul an endless runner?
No. It is a directly controlled physics driving game with ten authored delivery routes and a final destination.
Why do parcels slide out of the truck?
Parcels are separate physical objects. Acceleration, braking, collisions and slopes can shift them. Slow down before steep road changes.
How do I unload the cargo?
Brake near the delivery depot and remain almost stationary for a moment with enough parcels aboard.
How do I earn three stars?
Complete the delivery, bring every original parcel and keep the average delivered cargo condition above eighty percent.
Does the daily delivery add a new road?
No. It rotates through existing routes using your local date. It does not change campaign unlocks.
